Zaporizhia:
Zaporizhia is a city in south-central Ukraine, which is situated on the banks of the Dnipro River. The population is about 780 000 inhabitants. It is mostly famous for its Khortytsia Island. The island has played an important role in the history of Ukraine (especially in the history of the Zaporozhye Cossacks).
It is an industrial center: more than 280 enterprises are located in the city.
